Encyclopedia Vol. 3 L-Z will be the third and final volume of The Encyclopedia Project, a publication that appropriates the form of the encyclopedia to cross reference contemporary experimental and genre crossing literary and visual works. Encyclopedia Volume 1, A-E was published in 2006 and is now out of print; Encyclopedia Volume 2, F-K was published in October of 2010 and is available for sale from Small Press Distribution. Together, the first two volumes contain the prose, essays, photographs, translations, drawings, lists, emails, plays, diagrams, elegies, collages, cut-up sonnets and short stories of more than 250 writers, artists, scholars, activists, educators, and performers. Vol. 1, A-E entries include apocalypse, butch, celebrity, Detroit, and epistolary, while Vol. 2, F-K has fable, ghost, Iran, jouissance, kitsch and much more.
